Adult Band Program
Do you want to play in a band? Are you having a hard time finding band mates, or tired of open mic nights? Or maybe it's been years since you last played with other musicians. We have the perfect situation for you. We match up like minded musicians into bands. Then you will rehearse one hour a week with your band and a Bluebond Band Coach. If you need some help with something, you get a private lesson with one of our instructors. After ten weeks, your band performs on our stage in a show. New sessions start every 5 weeks, so call today to get into your new Band!!

Bluebond Guitars has a long, rich history in Philadelphia’s music culture. We’re a landmark of Philadelphia’s famous South Street; standing strong & serving local, talented artists since 1989.
Bluebond’s History: Bluebond Guitars was founded by Dale Bluebond in 1989 as a guitar repair shop and custom builds. In 1992 Bluebond moved to 4th and South and expanded to offer guitar repairs, custom builds and a retail shop. Not only did the store expand, but so did our staff. Longtime music enthusiast and Dale’s childhood friend Rich Chodak jumped at the opportunity to own a piece of music history in Philadelphia. In August 1994 Bluebond’s founder, Dale, passed away suddenly and Rich could not bear to see his hometown friend’s legacy fade away. Rich decided to keep Bluebond open under the original name in remembrance of his lifelong friend. Bluebond Guitars moved to our current location in 1995 then added music lessons in 2005. Bluebond Guitars’ 3 Prong Business of Retail, Repair, Music School has enabled us to stay successful in this competitive music market
Now that we haved moved to a more exciting space, Bluebond Guitars offers even more to Philadelphia’s aspiring artists. Our new location offers music & instrument lessons for children and adults, Adult/Kid Band Camp, instrument repairs and our live venue! Student Open Mic Performance
Bluebond Guitars offers open mic performance for any student enrolled in our music lessons or band camp. Develop & strengthen your craft and practice performing in front of a live audience! Open mic is available for any of our students to showcase their musical and/or singing talents. Perform original music or cover songs from your favorite artists.
